Thanks for checking! All our breads contain wheat and our Cauliflower & Coconut is baked with coconut (considered a tree nut). We're proud to say that our facility does not process any peanuts, shellfish, milk, eggs, fish, or soy. All allergen info can be found on the back of each product’s package.

We’re so glad you found our bread! Because our flatbreads contain no artificial preservatives or additives, they only have a seven-day room temp. shelf life after being defrosted. We ship our breads frozen and depend on the online store staff to follow instructions printed on all boxes and date code the product. Sometimes delivery services notify people on the web that they should consume all products within 5 days of receipt as a general rule of thumb. We recommend you store your breads in the fridge upon arrival (good for 3 weeks refrigerated), or in the freezer (good for 6 months frozen).

We suggest freezing our flatbreads to extend their shelf life without affecting the taste or texture. Because we use no artificial preservatives or additives, it’s best to use or freeze by the date on the package. We find that our flatbread tastes best if you use it within 6 months of freezing and within 5 days once you’ve thawed it out.

All our retail items use Non-GMO Project Verified and untreated flour, which means it’s unbleached, unenriched, unbromated.

Glad you asked! We recommend placing all the fillings on the half closest to you, placing a "sealer" spread (hummus, cream cheese, mayo, etc.) on the last half farthest from you, and then rolling it up tightly. The bread bags are #7 recyclable (mixed plastic). While most curbside programs don’t accept these, you can recycle them at most grocery stores or reuse them around your house (they make great sandwich bags!). We chose these bags because of their barrier properties that keep the bread fresher longer and reduce food waste without sacrificing our clean, pronounceable, and short ingredient deck.

And, to be honest, we’re not super thrilled about the lack of easy recyclability and we are continually looking for ways to evolve our packaging.

We love tortillas, but we are partial to our lavash because it’s so versatile and healthy! Lavash is a fully baked flatbread that is usually lower in sodium, less doughy and chewy, and generally contains less oil. Lavash's rectangular shape makes it easier to fit in lots of good stuff inside when you’re making wraps.

Lavash can dry out over time as it loses moisture. One simple fix is to sprinkle water (either with a spray bottle or by wetting your fingers and shaking over the bread). We also recommend storing lavash in the freezer to help lock in the moisture.

Yes. California Lavash has officially become Atoria’s Family Bakery, which we named after our Grandmother, Atoria. Our flatbreads have always been the bread of Atoria’s home and her youth - the bread of our family, celebrations and happy memories.

Here at Atoria’s Family Bakery, we use all natural ingredients. The sea salt we use does not have any iodine added to it whatsoever, though it does naturally contain traces. This is below the amount of iodine required to be nutritionally significant and is far less than your daily requirement.

All of the products in our retail line are certified Kosher by the OU.

It means that we do not use any dairy or meat in our products, and we have gone through a certification process that affirms that we do not use any animal products or test on animals.

Our entire facility is vegan, and all of our products are Certified Vegan.

GMO is short for Genetically Modified Organism. GMOs are the source of genetically modified foods, which means some ingredients in a food have been genetically altered (to increase resistance to pests, for instance).

This is an independent organization that verifies whether a company’s products are free of GMOs. We’re proud that at Atoria's Family Bakery, ALL of the products in our retail line are Non-GMO Project Verified.
